With 2015 not even a full four months old, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz corporate partner Andrew Nussbaum already has advised hard-charging Expedia Inc. on three major merger-and-acquisition transactions this year.

That is a remarkable pace that Nussbaum, outside counsel to Expedia, said comes from the Internet travel company’s unified vision and the integration of all aspects of its operations — including its in-house legal department and outside lawyers.
