Two California residents filed a putative class action against CVS Health Inc., accusing the company of misleading buyers as to the contents of a formula said to promote ocular health.

Suing in Marin County, Calif., Superior Court, Larry Meredith and David Gumner allege that CVS’s “Advanced Eye Health” supplement misleadingly appears to replicate a formula developed by the National Institute of Health to combat age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of vision loss for aging individuals.
