The American Bar Association has announced plans to finance seven initiatives matching unemployed law school graduates to unmet legal needs for the poor.

The programs—spread across the country and led by bar associations, law schools, legal aid providers or a combination of those entities—each will receive between $5,000 and $15,000 from the ABA though what the organization has dubbed “catalyst grants.”
