Two more law schools have launched accelerated programs designed to let students earn undergraduate and juris doctor degrees in six years rather than the typical seven.

The University of Iowa College of Law’s program entails partnerships with six colleges and universities in that state. Students admitted through the so-called 3+3 program can apply credits earned during the first year of law school toward the final year of their undergraduate degree—eliminating a year of coursework.
