A federal judge has rejected Fredrikson & Byron’s bid to dismiss a legal malpractice lawsuit filed by its former client over a cigarette trademark application gone awry.
U.S. District Judge Ann Montgomery in Minneapolis rejected the law firm’s argument that former client JJ Holand Ltd. waited too long to bring its lawsuit against the law firm.
