Forman Perry Watkins Krutz & Tardy has opened an eight-attorney office in Red Bank, N.J.

The Jackson, Miss.-based litigation firm, which has about 90 attorneys, focuses on defending corporate clients in toxic tort, product liability and commercial litigation. Clients have included Union Carbide Corp., Chubb & Son Inc., Union Pacific Railroad Co., and Medtronic Inc. The firm now has seven locations, including offices in Houston, Denver and Detroit.

The attorneys in the Red Bank office previously practiced at Braaten & Pascarella, said a firm spokeswoman. Leading the new office, located in Monmouth County, N.J., are Lisa Pascarella and Stephanie DiVita.

Increased mass tort work in the Northeast prompted the move, partner Thomas Tardy said in a press release. “We believe the time for this expansion is right,” he said.

Founded in 1986, Forman Perry also maintains transactional and financial services practices.
