Dinsmore & Shohl (Cincinnati): Erin Beatty joins the firm’s labor and employment department as an associate in the Morgantown, W. Va., office and will focus her practice in the mine safety and health group. Previously, Beatty was attorney adviser to the chief judge for the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. Beatty received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2007.
Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley (Oakland, Calif.): Ilse Scott joins the firm’s litigation practice group as an associate. Scott will focus her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on prosecuting and defending intellectual property complaints. Previously, Scott was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. Scott received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004.
