The National Conference of Bar Examiners announced Tuesday that the national mean scaled score for the February 2024 Multistate Bar Examination was 131.8, an increase of more than 0.6 points compared with the February 2023 mean of 131.1, but 0.8 points lower than the February 2022 mean of 132.6.

The February 2022 MBE national mean scaled score had also dipped from the 2021 score of 134 (the same score in 2019), so despite this year’s increase, overall there has been a 2.2 point decline in the past three years.
