Pet health wellness company PetIQ has fired Robert Michael Herrman, whom Idaho authorities charged in June with attempting to strangle his wife during a domestic dispute.

The company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission that it dismissed Herrman on Aug. 2 “without cause” after placing him on administrative leave following his June 25 arrest.
