The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday lifted lower court orders blocking construction crews from completing a final stretch of the 303-mile Mountain Valley Pipeline running through a national forest in West Virginia. No justices publicly dissented.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit had stayed completion of the liquid natural gas pipeline while environmental groups pursue additional legal challenges. Opponents say the pipeline will harm endangered species and protected ecosystems in the Jefferson National Forest.
