Back in April, the U.S. Supreme Court took up an appeal from the owner of a southern Maine hotel accused of having violated the Americans with Disabilities Act, called the Coast Village Inn and Cottages.

Like hundreds of other businesses across the country, Acheson Hotels LLC—which owns the Coast Village Inn and Cottages—was sued by disabled Floridian Deborah Laufer for not providing accessibility information about its lodgings on its website.
