New York-based litigation boutique Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler has launched an office in Washington, D.C., with two experienced white-collar and civil litigation partners.

Addy Schmitt, Miller & Chevalier partner and litigation vice chair, and Barry Pollack, who became a partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel last year when the firm merged with Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck & Untereiner, joined Harris St. Laurent on Monday to lead the firm’s expansion into the nation’s capital. They collectively have decades of experience in representing individuals and corporations in investigations, enforcement actions, criminal trials and commercial litigation.
