Sarah Palin’s defamation trial against The New York Times was set to start Monday, but it will be delayed until Feb. 3 because the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate has tested positive for COVID-19.

U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff of the Southern District of New York said he learned Palin tested positive Sunday night.
