President Joe Biden on Thursday tapped U.S. District Judge Michelle Childs to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, his second nominee to the powerful federal appeals court.
Childs has been a federal judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina for 11 years and previously was a state trial judge in South Carolina.
