Three of President Joe Biden’s federal judicial picks, including one for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, hit roadblocks Thursday when the Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked over their nominations.

The panel split 11-11 in votes for Ninth Circuit nominee Holly Thomas, Charlotte Sweeney for the District of Colorado and Hernán D. Vera for the Central District of California.
