IT infrastructure software provider SolarWinds Corp. has been hit in the Delaware Court of Chancery with a derivative suit by shareholders who say company leadership should have foreseen the possibility of the massive data breach that took place in 2020.

In a redacted public version of the complaint filed last week, the plaintiffs claim an ”utter failure to implement or oversee any reasonable monitoring system” directly led to “one of the most devastating cyberattacks against the United States in history.”
