High-profile Washington, D.C. defense attorney Bernie Grimm, who was previously a shareholder at Cozen O’Connor, has consented to disbarment, a disciplinary document this week revealed.

A disciplinary counsel consented to Grimm’s request that his disbarment be effective on September 1, 2021, to permit him to wind down, according to a May 11-issued report and recommendation of the D.C. Court of Appeals Board on Professional Responsibility.
