New York attorneys this week said Mark Pomerantz will bring extensive experience and talent to his new role helping the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office with its investigation into former President Donald Trump, the Trump family and the Trump businesses.

Pomerantz joined the DA’s office Feb. 3 as a special assistant district attorney, a spokesman for the office confirmed after the news was first reported by The New York Times. Pomerantz is on leave from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he is of counsel.
