Mayer Brown (Washington): Charles Salem Hallab and Tahan Thraya join the corporate and securities practice as partners. Hallab will also serve as chairman of the firm’s Middle East practice and lead the international joint venture and strategic alliance for the firm. Thraya will head the firm’s Middle East corporate and commercial team. Hallab and Thraya will focus on Middle East disputes and international arbitration matters. Hallab and Thraya were partners at Baker & McKenzie.

Cozen O’Connor (Miami): Susan Eisenberg and Jennifer Williams join the labor and employment department as partners. Eisenberg will focus on representing management in labor and employment matters, including wage-and-hour issues. Williams will focus on labor and employment law matters in courts and before administrative agencies. Previously, Eisenberg and Williams were partners at Akerman.
