June is known as the month for weddings — and for blockbuster U.S. Supreme Court decisions. This June will be no exception, with the strong likelihood that landmark cases dealing with same-sex marriage and other hot topics will be decided then.

The marriage cases will be argued on April 28, the next to last day for arguments this term, so a June decision date seems inevitable. The court has a strong tradition of deciding all pending cases each term before it adjourns in late June for the summer.
