DOJ v. Ferguson: From the New York Times: A Justice Department report on the Ferguson Police Department is expected to criticize authorities for “disproportionately ticketing and arresting African-Americans and relying on the fines to balance the city’s budget.” Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. will soon release the report, the Times said. Holder last week bid adieu to the department as his successor, Loretta Lynch, nears confirmation.

Now even more: The NLJ reports on the rising cost of a law degree: “Tuition at U.S. law schools continues to increase even as demand for law degrees declines. And the increases are particularly pronounced at the elite schools that send the most graduates into the nation’s largest law firms.” Read the NLJ’s Go-To Law Schools report here.
