On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh of the Northern District of California dismissed Northstar Financial Advisors Inc.’s complaint (which had already been amended four times) with prejudice, putting an end to a case that was appealed twice to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
