Jayme Cassidy says when sitting down to depose a key fact witness for the other side, she starts off with the proposition that the person she’s deposing is not her friend. But she said she sets out to make the witness her “frenemy.”
“You have to make them feel comfortable with you from the very start,” said Cassidy, the executive director of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network Inc.
