You could forgive Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis if they took the money they made from the $4.2 billion sale of Skype Technologies Inc. in 2005, bought a small island and were never heard from again. But while some might be content sipping daiquiris on a beach, this entrepreneurial duo seems born to innovate.

The Scandinavian Skype founders — who also created music-sharing service Kazaa — are attracting a good deal of hype with their latest endeavor, Internet television service Joost, and it might only be a matter of time before another acquirer is writing them a large check for their latest technology.
