Eyeing its growing number of legal users, Microsoft’s Office 365 platform has recently begun adding specific legal features, such as information governance controls and e-discovery abilities. But while a welcome addition for many legal teams, some believe the additions do not go far enough.

This gap has provided legal technology developers with opportunities. E-discovery and information governance provider Controle, for instance, has launched legal hold application eNotify for Office 365 to help enhance Microsoft’s legal hold processes.
