Despite a hacker’s threat to wipe Apple Inc. devices if the company doesn’t pay a ransom demand by April 7, Apple doesn’t believe that its system has been breached. The company also believes that your cloud account is likely safe from the plot.

But that hasn’t stopped Apple from taking action. The company is “working with law enforcement to identify the criminals involved,” an Apple statement says.
