Jules Miller, co-founder of legal tech entrepreneur community Evolve Law, found that their despite the desire for legal technology among in-house counsel, the reality of deploying it often runs into seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Inside counsel “really want to be using new technologies, but they are so strapped for time, for resources, for budget. They want to do it only if it’s easier, and if it fits within their existing workflow,” Miller said. The problem then is not a lack of education, skill or interest, but knowing how to work with current resources and how to get started, she added.
