Attorney billing is one place where technology has created almost as many problems as it has solved. E-billing platforms and requirements from clients, vendors and attorneys almost never completely match, leaving legal professionals the headache of trying to manage the complex tangle of e-billing needs.

Christy Hunnisett, billing coordinator for Canadian law firm Bereskin and Parr, previously told Legaltech News that the firm, like many, finds that e-billing technology can make it difficult just to figure out who and how much to invoice.
