With the General Data Protection Regulation taking effect in spring 2018, organizations have a little less than a year and a half to make sure their data storage and handling processes adhere to the regulation’s many directives.

Yet given the amount of unknown and unorganized data many organizations still hold, compliance efforts will need to significantly ramp up in 2017 to meet the deadline.
