Here’s a simple scenario that can suddenly turn not-so-simple. Your law firm has a local deli as a client, and the client wants to check its contract with a local cheese supplier. OK, you say, not a problem.

But is it a problem? In the olden days, this would require figuring out where the contract is stored, arranging for the box it’s in to be transported back to the office, searching the box to find it, then arranging for the box to be picked up and returned to the storage facility.
