Companies trust and increasing reliance on vendors belies apprehension over their cyberthreat exposure, according to Bomgar’s Vendor Vulnerability report, which surveyed 608 decision makers with IT roles in various companies across United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and France.

The report found that while almost all (92 percent) companies trust vendors, more than one-third noted they suffered a breach because of a vendor’s access to their networks and systems over the past year.
