Bringing a software or service into the legal technology space in hopes of solving problems, servicing demands and, ultimately, turning a profit, is both laudable and daunting for those that undertake the adventure.

At Legaltech New York, startups from across the legal landscape came together on a single stage for the “Legal Disruption Lightning Rounds” and bared all in “Shark Tank” style presentations to an innovation-hungry audience and respected panel of judges – including Joseph Bornstein, global director for Pangea3, Thomson Reuters; Monica Bay, a journalist and fellow at CodeX, Stanford Law; and Jason Baron, a member of Drinker Biddle & Reath’s information governance and e-discovery practice.
