With the rise of alternative fee arrangements, billing software, and time management organizers, law firm billing is in the process of being revolutionized. But how do you actually get the funds from Point A to Point B? ProPay and Actionstep are looking to offer a solution.

Payment solutions provider ProPay, a subsidiary of TSYS, has partnered with software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Actionstep to provide new payment solutions specifically tailored for law firms. The fully-integrated solution, the company says, allows clients to pay their legal bills by debit card, credit card or bank account. Further, invoices can be paid in-office, over the phone, by Web, email, and even text message.
