The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has fined AT&T $100 million for limiting “unlimited” plans after thet had consumed 3 GB of data per month. However, AT&T is now fighting back, calling the FCC’s findings “wholly implausible” in a new filing.

In the filing, AT&T has asked the FCC to withdraw and cancel its June Notice of Apparent Liability (NAL), which proposed the fine. AT&T also said that the FCC should, even if it does not agree with withdrawing the notice, halt any enforcement of its non-monetary penalties until a court could weigh in on their legalities.
