Sometimes ideas go through my head so fast that my fingers can’t keep up to type them before they’re gone. And sometimes typing interferes with the creative process and I get caught up in how I want to say something instead of focusing on what I want to say. I tried the dictation software that came with my laptop but I was horribly disappointed. It was slow and it did a terrible job transcribing my words.

Nuance Communication Inc.’s Dragon NaturallySpeaking has received rave reviews by users in many industries. I decided to test drive Dragon NaturallySpeaking Legal 13—especially after seeing the way Nuance described the dictation and transcription software in this demonstration video: “Think of Dragon as a second keyboard that you’re using with your voice. Instead of pointing, clicking, and typing, you can now point, click, and speak.”
