The Pilgrims might have missed the first Thanksgiving in 1621 if they were too busy texting friends or updating their Facebook and Twitter status to notice the gift-bearing Wampanoag Indians. But today’s pilgrims would miss the holiday, friends and family altogether without their high-tech gear and social networks.
