Picture this. You're lying on a sunny beach, holding a tall glass topped with a tiny umbrella in your sunscreen-covered hand — and the only choice you plan on making over the next few hours is whether you're going to read the latest A Song of Fire and Ice novel or go for a dip in the ocean. Then your phone beeps. A few moments later, it starts beeping some more. Pretty soon, it's beeping so often you think you're watching an Andrew Dice Clay stand-up routine on network television. Now, you're looking at spending your hard-earned vacation holed up in your hotel room as you try and deal with a work emergency so serious that it would make Armageddon look like a picnic.

Law Technology News asked 12 tech-savvy legal professionals what tech tools do they use to keep in touch with the office, especially in case of an emergency.
