In short, setting up e-invoicing has now become just an operational issue, and is about to “go mainstream” where any corporation can take advantage of its benefits.

There are many benefits of e-billing. The most obvious is operational efficiencies and value created from presenting bills electronically. Cost reductions include automated enforcement of the corporate counsel’s billing guidelines, enhanced quality control, and work-flow improvements (e.g., electronic routing of approved invoices directly to the accounts payable system).
