While the majority of legal departments in Europe have by now identified the benefits of streamlining their work processes with legal technology, it seems many are still going down their digitalization journey somewhat blindly, without a clear plan, strategy or even a dedicated budget to orient them.

This is the picture that Wolters Kluwer and the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA) painted in The Legisway Benchmark for Legal Departments report released on Thursday, based on a survey of over 520 in-house legal professionals across 30 different industries in Europe.
