On Friday, HBR Consulting, intelligence provider LAC Group and legal technology and data consultancy company Wilson Allen announced they have merged into a new company called Harbor, alongside Younts Consulting, which HBR acquired in February, and Aurora North, which Wilson Allen purchased in January. Keesal Propulsion Labs (KP Labs), a legal tech company launched by California law firm Keesal, Young & Logan in 2018 was also integrated into Harbor, though unlike its five counterparts, KP Labs is keeping it brand name.

Harbor replaces the combined entity that HBR consulting, LAC Group and Wilson Allen formed in May, called HBR + LAC + Wilson, though within that organization each company operated as an individual brand under a centralized executive team. HBR, LAC Group and Wilson Allen share the same investor, private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners, which acquired HBR’s Advisory business, split off from HBR’s Information Technology (IT), Managed Services and Keno Kozie businesses, in November 2022. Renovus also acquired KP Labs in July 2023.
