Senior industry figures suspect some training contract and vacation scheme applications they have received have been written using ChatGPT, sparking concern among several people in the U.K.’s legal sector.

Simon Ridpath, managing partner at Charles Russell Speechlys, said that his firm had received multiple applications which used noticeably similar language, indicating that the generative AI technology had been used.
