The future of work is here, and it is hybrid and remote. Per a March 2023 Gartner study, by the end of this year, only 29% of knowledge workers in the U.S. will work fully on-site, while 51% of those workers will be in a hybrid arrangement and the remaining 20% fully remote. This new way of operating will require new tools for collaboration among team members.

One such tool is Microsoft Loop, a new web and mobile co-creation app in Microsoft 365 that offers interactive components. These components allow multiple people to work together on lists, tables, draft copy, and notes across various Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Word. Microsoft is also developing a stand-alone Loop application, giving users the ability to create workspaces and pages that bring together multiple Loop components.
