On Wednesday, generative AI-powered contract drafting technology provider Henchman announced the expansion of its contracting solution with the launch of a suite of “Review capabilities,” which “propels Henchman’s growth beyond contract tailoring to reviewing and negotiating, expanding its reach within the contract lifecycle,” the press release said. The new offering is being positioned as an AI-powered personal assistant for contract drafting, negotiating and review in a single contract workflow.

“Henchman’s Review launch aims to make lawyers more efficient when negotiating complex contracts by leveraging their team’s collective data—securely—with the help of both AI as well as our native capabilities,” Julien Steel, Henchman’s Head of Product, said in the press release. “Expanding our product to cover the review and negotiation use cases seamlessly follows our earlier release of our AI Clause Assistant, which uses GPT on top of a law firm’s own contract data to ensure anyone’s highest security standards are met…. The Henchman product is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, and will be SOC 2 certified by the end of summer.”
