What’s a little commission between friends? Law firms and corporate legal departments aren’t necessarily bothered by the idea of legal tech consultants receiving a fee from vendors—even if it does mean a little bit more legwork or due diligence on their end. 

James Michalowicz, senior manager, legal operations business performance for TE Connectivity, noted that he generally doesn’t mind if a consultancy makes a commission off of a tech sale. There is, however, one very important condition attached.
