The legal technology world has been in the midst of an investment binge in recent years, with companies specializing in e-discovery, contract technologies and more partnering with venture capital firms for high-dollar investments. These investments are reaching nine figures and more, with a lot of these funds going to the industry’s mature and rapidly up-and-coming players.

However, when looking at the U.S. specifically, these funds aren’t necessarily going just to New York or Silicon Valley-based companies. Data from legal tech investment analyzer LegalComplex shared with Legaltech News found nine-figure investments in companies based in nine different states, with a host of others receiving millions of dollars to grow their legal tech companies.
