Maybe 2021 will be the year of togetherness. Legal research providers Fastcase and Casemaker announced this morning that they would be combining their mutual resources, technologies and employees in a merger. The parent company behind that combined entity will remain known as Fastcase, while Casemaker will continue to function as a separate brand and a platform. Satish Sheth, Casemaker’s owner, has become a member of Fastcase’s board of directors.

“The combination of our two programs is long overdue, and now the fun really begins. The first thing we’re going to do is what we always do, we’re going to put our customers first,” Sheth said.
