Answering LegalZoom referral calls and signing up clients was one duty of associate Tyler Berger when she worked at Fears Nachawati in Dallas.

The law firm did not know that Berger, now a Dallas solo practitioner, was secretly signing up the clients to her personal law firm and telling them to send payments to her firm’s bank account, according to an agreed judgment in a lawyer discipline case against Berger.
