After the COVID-19 pandemic first hit last spring, many law firms wasted little time cranking out advisory emails, resource portals and webinars to help guide clients through cavalcade of unexpected legal twists and turns they were likely to experience. But now several months into the public health crisis, the novelty may be starting to wear off as corporate legal departments realign their priorities.

“The thing that I’m hearing from my colleagues is that everybody is kind of over the COVID informative updates. There’s not really a lot to tell right now … My colleagues who are in-house are really focusing on how to take the next step forward,” said Jill Huse, president of the Legal Marketing Association.
