The 2019 LTN Tech Survey spoke with 38 technologists at America’s top law firms—primarily CIOs, but also CTOs and directors of technology—about how their firms view technology and their priorities in the upcoming year. Today’s law firms are expected to stay on top of everything from internal strategy initiatives to help drive collaboration and business development to external issues like security intrusions and privacy regulations. Technology is at the center of all of it.
These are the numbers Legaltech News found most interesting from this year’s survey, ranging from hardware purchasing to social networking and more. Some of these we’ve dove into more deeply, such as Rhys Dipshan’s examination of collecting non-email sources of data and Victoria Hudgins’ look at the price of cloud adoption. Taken together, the numbers illustrate a profession in flux: eager to move forward and revolutionize, but not in lockstep on the best way to do so.
