Investor Charles Hartman King spent three years unsuccessfully enforcing his record expungement. He lost multiple housing and job opportunities due to illegal arrest data reporting and was shunned by consumer reporting agencies that he said continued to communicate inaccurate background information about him.

King announced today that he has launched TheExpungedRecord.com, which provides a Fair Credit Reporting Act-inspired checklist of protective actions to help people defend themselves against companies that report outdated consumer information.
